Privacy Policy

Effective August 3, 2026. This page describes what apparntly.com does and does not collect. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you, directly from us. The site has no user accounts, no comment forms, and no newsletter signup. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not set tracking cookies. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use them only to keep the site running and secure, and they rotate out automatically.

Embedded content

Our pages embed TikTok videos through TikTok’s official player. When a page with an embed loads, TikTok may collect data about your visit and set its own cookies, the same as if you had visited tiktok.com directly. That collection is governed by TikTok’s privacy policy, not ours.

We also load fonts and icons from Google Fonts. Serving those files sends your IP address to Google. See Google’s privacy policy.

Product links on this site go to Amazon and carry our affiliate tag. When you click one, Amazon knows the visit came from apparntly.com and handles everything from there under its own privacy policy. We never see who you are or what you buy; we see aggregate totals only. More detail on our disclosure page.
